A couple things....

I so wish that I could take pictures of some of my fellow bus riders....
But alas, I would look like the crazy person that I am.
it is the oddest mix of people I have ever seen in my life.
And the bus has Wi-Fi!
I wish someone could explain to me how the heck they can do that.

I got home tonight to find a note on our door saying that they are testing
the fire alarm tomorrow.
Who cares??? I say.
Well, turns out they are testing it from 9 to 5....
This is what they said:
"The alarm is very loud; please do not try to cover the alarm in your house.
We will have ear plugs available in the office for you."
That's bizarre.
I know for a fact that I can not handle that noise all day long.
So I plan on heading to the local public library tomorrow.....
How tres un-chic!

I love shrimp.
My new favorite recipe is this one for Tequila Shrimp.
I recently heard that shrimp is a good form of lean protein and have been amazed
how quick and easy it is to cook.
I will tell you...
Do not try and substitute Bourbon for Tequila in this recipe.
It does not end well.
I was a little confused on where a person can buy hard liquor...
so I couldn't get the key ingredient and figured some of Brian's Bourbon would do
just fine. Turns out not so much.
But when I tried it again with Tequila...delicious!!

A word about Thursday.
The day I have been dreading for the past four weeks.
On Thursday, my classmates and I will head down the street to a clinic
to practice our pelvic exam skills....
That's right.
You heard me correctly.
We will also have the grand opportunity to practice an exam of another sort on
a real live male person.
And yes, they will be paid models.
Does that make it worse or better??
I don't know.
All I know, is I wish it were Friday already.

I can hardly wait to hear about Thursday.
So many things to wonder about the friends you will make on Thursday . . . like perhaps their mental state. I am so glad to have my favorite commenter back. I have missed you!
