Paige's Nursery by Erin

WARNING: the following post contains NO fart jokes and
isn't funny. Just warning you.

And I'm....back!!
Did you think I was lost only to never return?
Yes, me too!

Although I have to say that I think Brian's blogging is way more funny
and has alot
more fans than mine does...

But like he promised...here are pictures of Paige's nursery.
I absolutely love how her nursery turned out
and I'm happy to spend hours in there staring at the wonderful
things that my mom made.

She made the dust ruffle and curtain and she did such an amazing job...
it is exactly what I envisioned and wanted.

The irony of this lovely lovely crib is that so far
Paige is not a fan of it.
In fact, she hates anything that requires her to lay flat like the crib
or the Pack N Play...
So for now she sleeps in her baby swing which she adores.

And that is just fine with me because...well...she's sleeping!
And that is all that matters!

I love the curtains my mom made...they turned out just so perfect.

The walls are pretty bare...that part of the decorating
was on my "to-do" list for the last three
weeks of my pregnancy...
and well, we all know how that list ended.
But Alison sent Paige this beautiful cross and I just love it.
It is the perfect addition!

And here is the glider....I agonized over this choice to no end.
But in the end I am so happy with what we chose.
It is sooo comfortable and soft, which is great
since we have spent hours sitting in it.

My sister came to visit last week and it was wonderful.
She came at just the right time and was a huge blesssing...
she cooked, she cleaned, she made me laugh, kept me company (even at 3AM!),
and she held sweet Paige for hours on end.
We are so thankful that she could visit.
I missed her as soon as we dropped her off at the airport.

And here is our sweet little pumpkin.
She had her one month check-up today and she is doing great.

When Dr. Kuo put her on her belly to assess her...
our little bruiser just rolled right onto her back!
I was so proud of her!

She is really packing on the ounces lately...up to 6 lbs 9 oz!
Must be all the cookies and milkshakes!

Well, it is kind of nice to have a break from all the fart jokes. Ha ha! Just kidding Brian.

Er - Paige's nursery is just perfect for her. Everything turned out so pretty. I love how it came together and if you want to just go ahead and send that glider back to Texas when you are done, that would be great. It is so comfy!

Meeting Paige in person was more amazing that I could have ever imagined. I can't wait to watch her grow up!
