Packing blues

Yesterday a friend said, "but I thought you were excited about moving to Seattle...."

The answer to that is that I am excited, it's just a little hard to find my excitement right now because it's lost somewhere amid the sea of boxes and stuff that is everywhere.

And the other thing is that I was excited until we came back from a whirlwind trip to Seattle and I had to quit my job, tell my friends that I am moving far away and start saying goodbye to people....it was just alot to deal with in the span of a few days.

Everyone at work is being so incredibly nice and supportive and for that I am very thankful.

I'd say almost without exception that every person we have told about our impending move to Seattle has mentioned the weather!

But we are still excited! Brian is looking forward to his new job, it's a great opportunity for him and we are ready for an adventure.

So now comes the hard part....the packing....boooo!!!

Probably the hardest part is deciding what stays and what goes....we got a great start this weekend with the help of my mom (could not have done it with you Mom!!).

We now have a game plan......

It's not a fun game plan but it is a good plan....
