10 parts awesome...

Our first visitors arrived Wednesday afternoon!!
We are excited to have Brian's parents here and can't wait to show them some of the cool sites and delicious food spots that we have discovered....
We picked up Brian for lunch today and headed to the Diamond Knot...
We ate here our first week in Seattle and ever since then we have wanted to go back...
And if YOU come visit we promise to take you there too...
The food is great and the views of the Puget Sound are spectacular!

You get to cook your own meat on a steaming hot stone...

Here we are...happy to be with family...and off work...and have the sun shining!!

It was a pretty day but near the water it was really cold so I ditched trying to be cute and resorted to the warm fleece!

Does this make you think of Grey's Anatomy??

Then we headed over to the Future of Flight Museum
which included a really cool tour of the Boeing plant where Brian works.

Do you think I'm tall enough for the tour?

Little did we know but it was a big day at Boeing for the 787 Dreamliner ...
They opened the huge doors of the factory and rolled out the second Dreamliner plane to be moved down to the test facility....
There were lots of employees gathered outside, people stopping on the highway to take pictures and as the plane rolled out of the factory everyone cheered...
We felt lucky to get to see it!

And I would have the pictures to show you but the party poopers at Boeing made us surrender our cameras, cell phones and purses before we started the tour....

The Boeing tour was much better than anyone of us expected and our tour guide was great....
she was super perky and happy...she was prepared with lots of super cheesy one-liners....

She ended the tour with this....
As the saying goes,
If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going...

It would be 10 parts awesome if Brian would answer his work phone with that catch phrase!
