Fourth of July

So how was your Fourth of July?
Ours was relaxing and uneventful...
We have slept alot this weekend and done alot of nothing...nice!

Desiree and Mason came over to watch to fireworks with us at the beach...
This was quite an accomplishment because Desiree is pregnant and in the very tired stage so it took quite a bit of convincing to get her over...
She called ahead of time and said she couldn't seem to get off the couch and could I convince her....so with my persuasion skills and the promise of pizza and beer (for the hubby) she was convinced!
Yeah!! We took a blanket and the food and headed for the beach....
it turned out to be a little chilly as it got dark....

We saw a few fireworks displays...the Kirkland one just over the trees, the Seattle one in the distance and what do you know a few right over our heads...
All fun and games we decided until our blanket catches on fire...

We saw the movie Hancock last night...and give it two thumbs up...funny with some surprising plot twists.
