So I had my first day of orientation for grad school today and
my mind is on overload right now....
I totally jacked up the bus ride this morning...
And when I finally did make it to campus
I got off upset and swearing to never ride that stupid thing again.
But this afternoon I finally found the right bus
and it goes straight from our part of town to the University
so I ended the day vowing to give the bus another try.

At the nametag table was a basket with cards that said,
"Feel free to take a card."
So I took the one on top and this is what it said:
"Feel free to take a card."
So I took the one on top and this is what it said:
(It looks like a tarot card to me!)
Which is funny because I am soooo impatient, it is something
I am constantly trying to work on but usually with not much luck.
And it's also funny to me because this is what it said on the back:
Being infinitely patient
means having an absolute knowing that you're in
vibrational harmony with the all-creating force that intended you here.
You know that everything will happen at just the right time,
at just the right place, with just the right people.

I just had to laugh, because it is so Seattle!!
This should be my first clue that I'm not at Baylor anymore...
I thought the card was a really nice, motivational gesture...
and further proof that I am so out of my element....
Cheers to new/ bizarre adventures!

Ha, love this! I guess I didn't realize you were going to grad school... That's awesome, good luck to you! And congrats on conquering the bus system! ;-)
I find that little card cute, but very odd. It's dated Wednesday, Jan. 2, 1889 for some inexplicable reason? You're right, that's very Seattle. Quirky and chill...
