Pike Place Market

Here are the pictures from our trip last weekend to Pike Place Market...it's in downtown Seattle, right on the water so the views are spectacular.
It has a fish market, a farmers market, shops....a little bit of everything...and as you can imagine, the best people watching around!!

There is the fish market that sells all kinds of fresh fish and where the workers throw the fish around when somebody orders one...it's a total touristy thing but I would go again because it is so cool!

Pike Place Market
Here is our video of the flying fish that you might have heard about.....

There is also an area of "day stalls" where people rent space and sell....flowers, jewelry, crafty stuff, t-shirts...And then downstairs is called the Arcade and it is the most random assortment of stores....a Polish pottery store, a magic shop, a vintage baseball card store, a store with old political posters and memorabilla, and lots of antique stores that smelled like moth balls.

We bought some salmon and fresh vegetables and came home to have ourselves a feast!
